What to do
Wash: Wash the tattoo gently with a product made for tattoos at least twice a day.
Moisturize: Use a fragrance-free moisturizer after the tattoo is completely dry such as Aquaphor or A&D ointment 3-5 days then switch to a non-scented natural moisturizer or your choice. (Lubriderm,Aveeno,Cetaphil)
Protect from sun: Use a zinc-free sunblock once the tattoo is fully healed.
Wear loose clothing: Avoid tight clothing that rubs against the tattoo.
Drink water: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

Perfumes: Avoid using perfumed soaps or lotions on the tattoo.
Hot water: Don't soak the tattoo in hot water or pools until it's fully healed.

Direct sunlight: Avoid exposing the tattoo to direct sunlight until it's fully healed.
